The Icon of the silver screen mesmerized into the 60's as well, when I was kid. There was something about her legs in this picture that made me dream of having her, eventhough I was a young boy... I could only try to imagine how it made grown men feel!
Later in life I found out that this happened randomly, it was not planned. Just before the photographer took the picture, a subway train beneath her rushed pass blowing her dress up. Her reaction was natural she stopped it from going all the way up and laughed. And that is when the photographer snapped the picture. Funny how, this picture of Marilyn Monroe is probably the most famous one of all!
So this tribute is a way for you to do your own research on this page and arrive at your own insights.
